Sekelbos Lodge

Sekelbos Lodge is the new addition to the luxury four star lodges built on Ubique Game Ranch. Sekelbos is built in grand South African style from stone and thatch. Emphasis was placed on space and natural elements in the construction, yet Sekelbos boasts all the style and luxury one would expect from an upmarket game lodge. Built overlooking a waterhole and open plain, you can do some quality game viewing from the comfort of an armchair.

Accommodation is in eight spacious chalets, each with air-conditioning and en suite bathrooms. All chalets have 2 queen size beds for comfortable rest after a day in the bush. All are equipped with air conditioners for the African summer and most have fireplaces for those cool winter nights.

The lodge’s greatest attribute is an eleven meter high fireplace around which the outside lounge, dining area and bar have been laid out. A large lounge allows for relaxing with a book or some idle conversation. Our latest expansion to the facility is the addition of a ladies bar, complete with fireplace and lounge facilities, and a large dining room where most meals are served. The kitchen facility is world class and our two resident chefs will serve you some of the finest meals imaginable. All rooms are air conditioned for your comfort.

A unique sunken lapa accentuates the African sky while you enjoy the perfect evening around a glowing sickle-bush fire. A swimming pool is on hand for hot summer days. We pride ourselves in our high level of excellent service in all aspects. Everything possible is done to ensure your personal pleasure and comfort while still allowing you the freedom of experiencing what South Africa has to offer.

Sekelbos Lodge can accommodate groups of up to sixteen clients sharing. Accommodation is on a full catering basis only.
